The Trojan Knights have a brotherhood unlike any other at USC or at many universities. A Trojan Knight lives USC. Football season with the Knights is electric and spirited. The amount of spirit-related activities the Knights participate in is unrivaled by any other organization on campus. Every game day you can find the Knights tailgating on McCarthy Quad with the Victory Bell and at gametime either body-painted in the front row or on the field proudly ringing the Bell each time the Trojans score. In becoming a Knight, you welcome the other Knights as your brothers, and there is nothing better than game days, celebrating and cheering beside them, who share your passion, dedication and love for your university and its teams. As a pillar of the Knights, philanthropy is a large focus for the organization, serving the university and Los Angeles community.

The Trojan Knights are as diverse as they are prestigious. Scholars, athletes, leaders of the student body all make up the closest and tightest knit brotherhood at USC.

With a dedication to learning, promoting, and continuing the storied traditions of the best university in America, becoming a Trojan Knight brings you closer to your university, closer to your college experience, and brings you more school pride than any other organization on any campus.

Message From the Rush Chair

Dear Visitor,

My name is Chris Yoshonis, and as the Recruitment Chair of the Trojan Knights, I would like to introduce you to USC's most historic and tradition-rich brotherhood.

Since our establishment in 1921, the Knights have held an iconic position at USC, representing the dedication to spirit and university tradition that binds together the Trojan Family. Founded on the three pillars of Brotherhood, Philanthropy, and Spirit the Trojan Knights are a service and spirit organization unique to USC. As the Guardians of Tradition and Official Hosts of the University, the Trojan Knights aim to promote spirit around campus and to have a positive impact on the surrounding community through philanthropic work. Becoming a Knight is merited only by those who show the utmost dedication to the traditions and values held by the university. But to those who are Knighted comes a fun, spirited, rewarding college experience. Whether standing on the Coliseum sideline ringing the Victory Bell, body painting in the front rows of the student section, camping out protecting Tommy Trojan before the UCLA football game, leading rallies and student functions for the football team, gaining access to the best basketball seats, or knowing more about your university, its history, and its storied traditions than any other person on campus, a Trojan Knight lives USC.

If you are interested in learning more about the Knights, or are more interested in how to join our storied ranks, please contact me with any questions.

Trojan Knights Rush Week has come to a close! Thanks for all those who came out to learn about the organization!

Fight On!

The Trojan Knights is a brotherhood very different from the normal fraternity you may have heard of. Knighthood does share similarities to these fraternities, with a candidate semester and brother structure, but the focus is oriented less toward the social scene found on fraternity row and more towards learning the secrets of USC and serving to protect them all the while promoting the values and spirit of the Trojan Family.

So while a candidate for a Greek organization you may say you are pledging a fraternity, as a Knights candidate, you are very much pledging USC. In addition, the Trojan Knights have a deeper focus on philanthropy and serving the university and the surrounding community, all of which provide a stronger sense of pride in being a Trojan.

Becoming a Knight in no way disqualifies you from also joining a fraternity. Many Knights are members of Greek organizations. Both provide their own unique benefits. The inter-fraternity system as well the the Knights hold both a fall and spring rush period.
